DJ Omar Gharbi has a musical career spanning 20 years, today he stands as one of London's most successful and most in demand DJ's both internationally and in the grey capital.
His style today is the culmination of years of traveling, living and playing in different parts of the world soaking up influences and perfecting his craft both as a DJ and an accomplished preccussionist.
When he landed in London over a decade and a half ago, he took over the club scene by storm introducing a fresh, unique and addictive sound. A mixture of chilled beats, world music, tech and progressive house of the highest quality. His music has been the driving force behind the success of many legendary venues in London, from the big rooms at ministry of sound to the chic and award winning Nozomi in Knightsbridge not to mention countless other clubs and events.
This success was the catalyst for many wonderful collaborations with some of Dance music's most respected names and sharing decks with the likes of D. Ramirez, Alex.P, DJ Naz of Buddha Bar and Jez Perira to name but a few. Omar also shared center stage with the likes of Shakira at Wembley arena, Sean Paul, Damien Marley and Alesha Dixon again to mention but a few and a true testament to his talent, profesionalism and rich musical output.
Taking it to the next level, his label "We are the Rythm" co founded with producer Nabil.S is now building up towards putting out some great records to redifine the dance scene once again...Watch this space as the story continues to unfold!
